Type one quantity and read every equivalent at once, trade units included: arrobas, bags, gallons, tipper loads and the three ways concrete strength is written.
Multiply pounds per square inch by 0.00689476 to get megapascals, or divide by 145. A 3 000 psi concrete is 21 MPa, and 4 000 psi is 28 MPa. The third form of the same figure, kilograms per square centimetre, is the megapascal value divided by 0.0980665 — 21 MPa is about 214 kg/cm².
Because that is how material is sold and hauled. A quantity is calculated in cubic metres or kilograms but ordered in cement bags, arrobas or truck loads, and the conversion between the two is where the mistake usually happens. They are ordinary units here, with the size assumed for each written next to its name.
